Why would you vote for a leader not the person to represent you? Like too many Canadians you are not voting for a representative, but for a leader, and thus democracy dies; too bad as it is already dead in Canada and you have just shown why. Please wake up. Independents or fringe party candidates can be more powerful than you could imagine. Imagine a finely balanced parliament with 10 independents...sounds good to me. Jeff, I feel sorry for you making those choices for yourself.
